Spring started with Grant losing his first molar.  Soon after, we went to the midwest to spend Easter with Dave’s family and attend a Cubs game at Wrigley Field.  We managed to run around Chicago a bit before that, going up in the Sears Tower (no, we don’t call it by the new name) and seeing Millennial Park.  Logan found the Mold-A-Rama, which brought back memories of Brookfield Zoo and other Chicago attractions.  I’ve not seen that in many decades, so maybe it was a unique Chicago souvenir.

The Y-Guides Pinewood Derby was the end of April, and both boys placed with their cars. This was Grant’s last year, which brought a tear to my eye.  Good times with that group.  Grant graduated from the Y-Guides at the New Brighton Campout.  Fire first time!
