Grant is now in 6th grade at Valley Christian Junior High School, while Logan started 3rd grade at Valley Christian Elementary.  Both boys are enjoying school and being back with their friends.  Logan’s soccer team is the Mercury, and he played goalie the first game.  They won the game, and Logan only let the other team have one goal.  Next game we’d love to see him try and score some goals!

Raleigh joined the family on September 13, 2014 at about 8 weeks old.  He’s a labradoodle and Grant is just enchanted by him.  The drive home was a bit challenging (he got carsick three times) but day one at home we’ve had no accidents.  Cross our fingers this continues!

Logan earned another chess trophy (International Chess Master) and is ranked second in his school.  He’s pretty excited about reaching that level.

The San Francisco Giants somehow made the NL West Wildcard spot and kept winning through the post-season.  When they wound up in the World Series, Dave had to make good on his promise to Logan to take him (Grant went in 2012).  So, on Sunday October 26, they went to watch the Giants beat the Kansas City Royals at AT&T park with a 5-0 score, which put them up 3-2 in the best of 7 series.  Another fabulous experience.
