With two February birthdays a week apart, it can get pretty busy around our house.  Logan turned 6, and got his first gear bike.  He can’t wait to go riding with Daddy and Grant.  He handed out dinosaur cookies in Mrs. Carlson’s class, and the kids gobbled them up.

Brian turned 17 in February, and Dave modified the Christmas Tree Coffee Cake recipe to a round shape for his birthday cake. Grant had an early birthday in September, taking 10 of his friends to a San Jose Giants Game.  Note to self- 12 boys, 90 degree day and 3 hour game is not something you want to repeat.  At the Game, Grant got a ball from the Modesto Nuts (a Colorado Rockies minor league team), and a broken bat used in the game (all taped up so it was a bat again).  Giants won 8-3.  The Post Party at our house was 14 boys roughhousing followed by ice cream cake and delicious cake pops.
