This year we only had one family trip to Hawaii, but managed to get in two islands- Oahu and Kauai.  Clearly I wasn’t taking pictures on Oahu, with the exception of a few beach shots with Mr. Kevin, the boys’ babysitter who came with us for that portion of the trip.

Weather on Kauai reflected the  “green island” status.  In other words, it rained every day and there were lots of clouds.  But a few moments of sunshine broke through, such as the Kilauea lighthouse photos.  We found trains on Kauai, and although they were not historical, the boys enjoyed riding the rails (and feeding the pigs!) at the Kilohana Plantation.  A water slide at the condo provided hours of amusement and really helped push Logan’s swimming since he had to make it to the stairs unaided.  And kicking and screaming, I was able to sneak in ONE family photo (not photoshopped!) as evidence we were on the island together.
