Another great air show! This year’s show was  not as thrilling as in the past due to the lack of military support (probably all in Afghanistan).  The C-17 was grounded (due to the recent crash in July at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska), Harrier’s were not flying, and the  F-18 was the only current military aircraft flying.  Grant lost a tooth on the way there (#5!), so he was more excited about the tooth fairy than the planes I think.    The Hornet was exciting as usual, and the boys got to sit in a number of Cockpits.  (We wore last year’s shirts, which is why you see 2009 on them. )
